Rava Laddu recipe|Sooji Laddu recipe|Diwali recipes|Festival recipes Collection

Hi friends, this is a recipe I prepared for this Diwali. But some how missed it to share with you. And I saw it recently sitting in my recipe collection without sharing. So came up to share with you.

This rava laddu can be prepared in 20 minutes and also require very less ingredient. But the outcome will be very tasty. For a very good taste, use good quality sooji and ghee. And another thing is, the ghee must be very hot while adding in sooji.

Will see the recipe in detail.

  • 1.5 cup Sooji/Rava
  • 1/2 cup Ghee

Instructions

  • Chop the cashews.
  • Add cardamom and sugar in a blender.
  • Powder it.
  • Now add sugar in the blender.
  • Powder sugar finely.
  • Add a spoon of ghee in a nonstick pan preferably.
  • Fry cashews in ghee.
  • Remove them and keep aside.
  • Slightly roast rava in the same pan.
  • Meanwhile, heat ghee.
  • Add sugar and cardamom powder to roasted sooji.
  • Add cashews to it.
  • Add ghee little by little and make laddus.
  • Store in an air tight container.

Notes

  • You can powder the roasted rava coarsely to get smooth laddu.
  • It stays fresh for 10 days in room temperature.
  • If you couldn’t make laddu, add little milk and bind into laddu. But the shelf life reduces if you bind with milk.
  • You can add raisins too.
