Hi mam, I really liked the detailed article that u have put up. I have a 3 month old baby who is breastfed n is recently constipated. My granny too told me this medicine mixture but since I live in Dubai in d time of corona, we r not able to go out in search of a spice shop whr d ingredients r available….I have kadukai n sukku at home. So can I use only these two ingredients n give it to my baby? Or will it induce heat in her body if I give just d two?

  3. Hi Mrinalini, very much pleased that my article is useful for you. You have said that your baby is on Bf and is constipated. So the best remedy is rub and prepare kadukai alone with mother’s milk. Follow the same procedure as in instruction but with kadukai alone. Wash the kadukai with hot water and rub for about 3 times on the stone along with mother’s milk and offer your baby after bath in the morning. Give this twice a week if the baby is constipated. I followed this for my daughter from 60 days. Share your feedback. Thank you.

Hi deepu, thank you so much for the details of all urai medicines. I find it very useful for my 1 month old grand daughter Kushi. Amidst the lockdown i managed to get the medicine from a shop nearby. Missing our elders in the family your description gives a clear note. Thanks again.
