Capsicum is a very healthy vegetable especially for babies. They are loaded with vitamin C and helps to boost immune in babies.
Adding this veggie in babies diet regularly helps to maintain healthy eye sight and gives good skin complexion. I have added cooked rice in this recipe. So this recipe can be prepared within 10 mins if you have cooked rice in hand.
This recipe gives hand if you have no time to prepare special lunch for babies. This rice is not only healthy but is also very simple and packed with nutrients and vitamins.
It can be give to babies from 8 months. Initially, blend and give for babies. After 10 months, you may mash and feed the babies. I have used green capsicum, but you may add any color of capsicum for this recipe.
Capsicum Rice for babies
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tbsp chopped Tomato
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1/4 Capsicum chopped
- 1/4 boiled Potato
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/4 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 cup Water
- Salt required

- For small babies, blend the food in mixer and feed.
- For 10+ months baby, you ca mash with masher.
- Add warm water finally to get required consistency.
