This recipe is one of my kids favorite. We usually prepare this at least once in 2 weeks. This porridge is one of the simple lunch menu in our house. Somedays, I even prepare this for breakfast if we want light breakfast but at the same time an healthy option.

If having for lunch, we will have with plain boiled egg. But you may have with papad or any non veg gravy too. The recipe can be prepared as one pot in cooker and takes around 30 minutes to prepare.
